The Tank Museum is also home to the world’s only Abrams tank. The museum’s collection includes the world’s only working example of the German Tiger tank, as well as the British Mark I tank, which saw action at the Battle of the Somme in 1916. The museum holds more than 300 tanks, from the first tank used in combat in 1916, to the latest state-of-the-art models.
